A recent project for Ferguson Pape Baldwin Architects presented some interesting challenges. There was a great deal of glass in the interior spaces which gives ocean views even from deep within the project but which is also reflective. In addition, we wanted to show the spaces in use so we shot during working hours.
We used additional light brighten spaces as we were able to and black cloth to kill off or lessen reflections. In a work environment during business hours the process has to be different in order to minimize interruptions. The technical compromises are worth it to get a level of activity we would have been hard pressed to create otherwise.Previous Post
